Calculus
Calculus
This is a group project which we created a box using cardboard paper. We calculate the box size with the optimization method that we learned in class. Then, we decorate it using our creativity which my group designed it to be a Lucky Charm cereal box. The ELSOs related to this work are Innovative Thinker since we apply our calculus knowledge to solve the box volume and size and we also use creativity to design the box as well.

Optimization Box Project
Video Project
We were assigned to create a video explaining topics about calculus as a pair. What we chose to do about is "Area under the curve of the x-axis" which we've learned in the past quarter. We had to do research and utilize the knowledge we've acquired in calculus class. Firstly, we researched some explanation and information on this topic and then gathered it to put in the video we created using Powtoon. Then, we added animations and cartoons to make it more interesting for the audience as well as giving examples. From doing this project, I've gained more details about this topic and got to apply my knowledge to solve problems. The video turned out pretty great with a good score, however, I would like to improve some of the editings which were done in a rush. The ESLOs related to this project is Innovative Thinker as we apply what we know to solve the area under the curve.
