Social Structure

Social Problem and Solution Poster
In the first quarter, we learned about the social structure in Thai culture as well as the relationship between individuals, the roles and status of people, the characteristics of Thai society, and the composition that build the structure of our society. This lesson we learned can be adapted for use in our daily lives since it is about the community that we live in every day. In order to live peacefully, everyone must respect the regulations and people in the society. With the apprehension of knowledge we gained, we created a poster that reflects the problem in our society and analyzed it to find solutions. The knowledge can be utilized by offering solutions for the problem that my community is facing. This is related to altruistic global citizens in ELSOs since this teaches us to respect others, and responsible for our community.
Thailand's Political System
In this quarter, we learned about the system of Thailand's government, specifically about the unitary state, federal state, democracy, minority rights, and majority rules. The project for this quarter was to create an infographic video explaining about a law. We were given the law of child custody. At first, this project seemed very confusing and hard for me since I missed some class days. My role was to edit the video and infographics. However, the final work came out very well and it looks better than we thought it would be. I think as a Thai resident, we all should be informative of the common laws and structures. The knowledge I've learned from the lecture and research would be useful for me in the future. This work relates to the ESLOs 'articulate communicator' since we use the media to explain our ideas of understandings.
Thai traditional project

We've learned about criminal law, consumer law and human rights in this semester. This knowledge we've acquired during the lecture in classes will be very useful for me as a Thai citizen since all of these laws is applicable to our daily lives. It is important for us to be aware of the regulations in our country as well as our rights and duties. All of these laws can also help us protect our rights and prevent them from being violated.

In this quarter, we learned about Thai traditional culture. We were assigned to do a self-directed project by choosing to create any Thai traditional inspired crafts. I had a hard time choosing what to do but I ended up painting a ceramic plate. My painting pattern is inspired by Wat Arun which is one of the famous temples in Bangkok. I had to be very patient while painting because it requires precision to paint the plate. By doing this work, it helps promote Wat Arun to other people and can increase the visits. It also emphasizes the Thai traditional art.
This project helps me to improve my artistic skill. This work relates to the ESLOs innovative thinker by being creative and original.
Thai Traditional Costume Competition
For the Thai traditional costume competition, me and my class voted for the recycled costume that is inspired by democracy. I chose to vote for this one because it is the election period and I think it is important to emphasize the importance of democracy. For my part in this project, I helped to prepare Dew, who is the model by doing his makeup and adjust his costume.

We used our creativity to recycle waste materials to create something new. We have achieved many things from this project including teamwork and accepting different opinions and agreements. For ESLOs, this relates to Innovative Thinkers on using creativity to create high-quality work and Leaders for the future of working as a team through differentiation.
