Unit 1 Project
In this unit, we were assigned a self-directed project on the Medieval Era which we chose the American Revolution with the focus on the main events of the revolution as well as important people such as Benjamin Franklin and George Washington. We decided to presented the project as a newspaper which demonstrate the old vintage newspaper during that particular era. In addition, we created a powerpoint to present the information that we researched on. This project also connected to what we've learned during Unit 1 which is the philosopher such as John Locke since the American Revolution declaration is based on his philosophy. This relates to ESLO on Innovative Thinker which we used technology to create the project and Leaders for the future because this is a group project that we work as a teamwork to accomplish the same goals.

Unit 2 Project
During this quarter, we were assigned into groups of four and was given a developing country with problems. My group got Bolivia located in South America and it is one of the poorest countries on the continent. We had to research the problems of Bolivia and find the solutions. First work was to do a presentation about the country and introduce the problems to class. Second is the role play simulating the situation in the country. For the final project, our group decided to create a website showing the information about Bolivia. This was also apart of MUIDS international day where we presented this to judges. Surprisingly, we won the award as the favourite country.
Historical Newspaper
Unit 4 Project
For the final project of Unit 4, we had to create a newspaper that focuses on two topics in the specific year during the period of the Cold War. My topic was in the year 1969. I chose to write about the Apollo mission and the Nixon Doctrine because the first succeeded mission of sending a human to the moon was such a huge accomplishment of mankind. I did research on each topic and write it in a newspaper reporting style. It took a while to complete the work so I am very proud of this project. The layout and design of the newspaper look very identical to the real one since I aimed to mimic the actual newspaper in that Era. I've gained further knowledge in the history topic of the Apollo mission and learned about the Nixon Doctrine as well from researching from different sources. The ESLOs related to this project is strategic learner by using technology to do research about each topics.
